Seahawks BREAKING: Russell Wilson Signing With Steelers

Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has found his new home after a forgettable two-year run with the Denver Broncos.

Per multiple reports Sunday night, Wilson plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers when the new league year begins on Wednesday. Wilson visited Pittsburgh last week, and it didn't take long for the two sides to agree on a deal.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Wilson is signing a "team-friendly, one-year" contract.

"Nine-time Pro-Bowl QB and former Super-Bowl champ Russell Wilson plans to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, per league sources," Schefter tweeted. "Wilson will sign a team-friendly, one-year deal in which the Broncos will wind up paying $38 million of his salary while Wilson wears the black and yellow."

Wilson will now look to compete with Kenny Pickett for the starting spot under coach Mike Tomlin. Mason Rudolph, who started in Pittsburgh's Wild Card loss, is entering free agency.

"There was a lot about Pittsburgh that attracted him," Schefter said on SportsCenter shortly after the news broke.
