Seattle Seahawks Injury Report: Tyler Lockett Among Four Questionable vs. Los Angeles Rams
Continuing to nurse a hamstring injury that has bothered him for the past month, the Seattle Seahawks designated Tyler Lockett as one of four players questionable to play against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Sunday.
With the team clearly protecting one of its biggest stars, Lockett has been a regular on Seattle's injury report for several weeks running, including sitting out practice all week. To this point, he has yet to miss any games due to the nagging injury and the ninth-year veteran has ample experience playing on game day despite missing practice work, improving his odds of suiting up in Los Angeles.
"He ran today, he worked out and did all of that with the trainers," coach Pete Carroll said after Friday's practice. "We didn’t run him at practice. He’ll run again tomorrow and it’s day-to-day right now.”
Aside from Lockett's availability being in question, the Seahawks also gave safety Jamal Adams, cornerback Tre Brown, and tackle Abraham Lucas questionable designations for Sunday. Dealing with a re-aggravated abdominal injury suffered in his season debut last week, receiver Dareke Young was officially ruled out.
Tyler Lockett had a big game in Los Angeles last year and after running on Friday, Seattle hopes to have the star receiver available this weekend.

In the case of Lucas, who Seattle designated to return to practice from injured reserve on Wednesday, Carroll indicated that he would not be ready to make his debut this weekend. The second year tackle has been sidelined since the season opener with a knee issue that required an injection in September and after practicing in limited fashion on Wednesday and Thursday, he sat out Friday and the team will continue evaluating him next week to see if he can return to the lineup.
With Lucas not available yet, the Seahawks reportedly will sign veteran Jason Peters to the 53-man roster off the practice squad, though an official move has yet to be announced. The 41-year old blocker played well against the Commanders last weekend, but after being elevated from the practice squad three straight weeks, he has exhausted all of his elevations and has to be on the active roster to dress again.
To create space for Peters, the Seahawks could place Young back on injured reserve after activating him a week ago, unfortunately ending his season. The team also has undrafted rookie tackles McClendon Curtis and Raiqwon O'Neal on the 53-man and could waive them with hopes of eventually bringing them back as members of the practice squad.
In additional offensive line news, Seattle will have rookie Anthony Bradford available to play if needed after missing the past two games with a knee injury. The fourth-round pick out of LSU likely will serve as a backup behind Phil Haynes, though the team could potentially use a platoon and give both players snaps on Sunday.
Like Lockett, Adams has been a regular on Seattle's injury report dealing with a sore knee stemming from a torn quad tendon suffered last season and the team has been proactive taking care of him during the week. So far, he hasn't missed any games since being activated from the PUP list in Week 4 and while listed as questionable, Carroll remains hopeful he will be ready to go by Sunday.
“He’s just telling you what it feels like. His knee has been something. Just trying to take care of him. We’ll figure it out as we go," Carroll said.
As for Brown, he jammed his foot during Thursday's practice, but Carroll anticipates the Seahawks should have him active alongside Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen in the secondary. In the event he isn't able to go, veteran Mike Jackson started all 17 games last season and would be ready to jump into the lineup in a pinch, while Artie Burns could also be an alternative.
