Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Seattle Seahawks welcome the struggling Arizona Cardinals to Lumen Field on Sunday, with both teams nursing significant injuries. Coming off their bye week, the Seahawks are still reeling from the 17-13 loss to the Bengals in Week 5, and with plenty of time to contemplate mistakes that were made, appear ready for Arizona. The Cardinals suffered a 26-9 beatdown by the Rams last week, and are still struggling to get healthy and piece together wins.
Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray returned to practice this week, but Josh Dobbs remains the team's starter - for now. Murray's comeback from a 10-month layoff from an ACL injury seems inevitable. Two-time All-Pro safety Budda Baker has missed the last five games with a hamstring, while fellow safety Jalen Thompson has missed time too, also with a hamstring.
Also struggling with injuries recently, the Seahawks will welcome safety Jamal Adams back to Lumen Field. It's been over a calendar year since Adams last set foot on his home turf after suffering a torn quad tendon in Week 1 last season, and then dealing with a concussion in his return in Week 4 this season at the Giants.
“I’m just looking forward to it," Adams said ahead of Seattle hosting Arizona on Sunday. "I know it’s going to be amped. I know it’s going to be juiced. I know we’re going to feed off one another, so it’s going to be good.”
The schedule won't get any easier for the Seahawks, so a win against Arizona is almost necessary. With losses already to Cincinnati and Los Angeles, Seattle will face 3-2 Cleveland and 4-2 Baltimore in the coming weeks.
