The Seahawks return home to the friendly confines of Lumen Field on Monday night to host the suddenly slumping Eagles.

Philadelphia has lost two in a row and has relinquished the lead in the NFC East to the Dallas Cowboys. Seattle lost its fourth game in a row last week and is watching its playoff hopes circle the drain.

A win would go a long way for either team.

“We’re not hitting a panic button as far as, ‘we’ve got to do everything.’ We didn’t play well and we didn’t coach good the last two weeks,” Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said. “We didn’t play good enough and we didn’t coach good enough the last two weeks to win the games. It wasn’t up to our standard, so we’re pissed and we’re looking for ways to fix that.”

A victory would clinch a playoff spot for Philadelphia, who no longer has the inside track to the No. 1 seed in the NFC after consecutive losses to San Francisco and Dallas. For the Seahawks, a win would mean breaking the only four-game skid that coach Pete Carroll has ever known in Seattle. It would also drastically change Seattle's playoff outlook with just three games remaining.

“There is so much at stake from this point forward. There’s so much, with five other teams that are vying for this spot,” Carroll said. “It’s a run to the finish and see who wins the race. It’s exciting, and we got to make the most of it and be tuned into it.”

The game was originally scheduled for Sunday but became the first game the league has ever flexed to Monday as part of the NFL's agreement with its broadcast partners.

The Seahawks hope to get quarterback Geno Smith back in the lineup on Monday night. Smith missed the last game with a shoulder injury. Carroll sounded optimistic on Thursday, saying Smith "feels really good," but he was noncommittal on Saturday. "He made it through with the work he’s done, and he’s still questionable. We’ll wait and see what happens on game day."
