Episode 2 of HBO's Hard Knocks might have been even better than the first episode.

The first episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks featuring the Seattle Seahawks was a huge success for the NFL and the team. It was an even bigger win for the 12, who received more experience with the team. There was a lot of hype going into the second episode and it may have exceeded that hype. The episode featured key players, highlights and big moments. There were a lot of special moments for the 12s to pick their favorite part.

How Impressed Were Fans by the Second Episode?

There was a lot of hype from the second episode with different storylines and more unique perspectives of the team. How much did fans enjoy it? Brian Nemhauser’s poll showed 85% of fans thought that the episode lived up to the hype. This is 24-hours poll, but this is a strong first impression of the second episode.

Mike Macdonald Shows Why He is Among the Best Coaches in the League

The episode started with head coach Mike Macdonald taking command of the team during a practice. Macdonald gets onto edge rusher Derick Hall for rushing too long that could potentially injure the quarterback.

After Macdonald pulls Hall off from the field, Hall displays his dissatisfaction, but the head coach is quick to own his practice and his reasoning. He knows what players to get tough with and how to properly coach them to success.

Fan Were Shocked by Elijah Arroyo

Second-year tight end Elijah Arroyo has always been known to be a talented and dynamic route-runner, even as a tight end. The Hard Knocks only proved how good he really was at creating separation and making solid catches.

In one red-zone practice play, he moves to turn outside , but swiftly plants to cut inside and separate from safety Rodney Thomas II for a beautiful touchdown catch. Arroyo has been a consistent contributor this training camp and the clip is the cherry on top.

What Makes Sam Darnold a Special Passer

Sam Darnold was the former third overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft for many reasons. One of the biggest reasons was his talent at throwing the ball. Darnold has been honing his craft and getting better each year. The second episode highlighted his incredible tight spirals when the ball is released. It is what helps make his passes accurate and progress deep down the field. Finally, it is really pretty to see in slow motion.

Leonard Williams Proves He is a Fan-Favorite

The second episode featured Leonard Williams, the veteran defensive tackle and a crucial part of the team. The episode highlights that Williams appreciates the transition from New York life, playing for the Jets and Giants, to playing in the West Coast. There was a point where he considered retiring while playing for one of the New York teams. Now, Williams is a leader on and off the field and is developing chemistry with many of his teammates.

Fans Happy to See How the Team is Handling Terrion Arnold

The Seahawks are doing more than just their due diligence on free agent cornerback Terrion Arnold. The front office is reaching out to former teammates to see how he would fit with the team. They had him in for a workout to judge how he looks. Fans were definitely impressed with how he looks, but the team is being cautious about his off-the-field issues with eight felony counts, including kidnapping and robbery.
