Cordarrelle Patterson Asks Steelers Fans to Pick Jersey Number
PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers kick returner Cordarrelle Patterson is asking fans for their advice on what number he should pick with his new team. In years past, he wore No. 84, but is now considering alternatives - and wants the fans' opinions.
Patterson posted a poll on X, asking if he should stick with 84 or go with a new number. His options are 10, 13, 18 and 81.
Patterson could stick with 84, which would bring immediate Antonio Brown memories to Steelers fans - in a good way. If he chooses 10, he's taking Mitch Trubisky's number, 13 was Miles Boykin and 18 was Diontae Johnson.
In 11 years in the NFL, Patterson has only worn No. 84, which makes contemplating a change very interesting. But, with a new team, sometimes you need some change - and Patterson wants to know if he should make it.
Patterson is listed as a running back in Pittsburgh but will likely contribute across the field on offense, playing in the backfield and as a wide receiver. He has success at both positions, with 2,511 rushing yards and 2,795 receiving yards. He's also combined for 38 career touchdowns.
