Tomlin spoke about the expectations for the younger players on the team. Pointing out Bennie Snell Jr., the head coach spoke on how the rookies will focus on more special teams work than their respected positions, stating, they'll likely see the field on a punt or kick before an offensive play.

After speaking on the versatility of the defense, Tomlin addressed the concern at tight end. It's no secret there's been a lack of depth since losing Jesse James this offseason.

With Zack Gentry struggling and dealing with injuries and Vance McDonald being unreliable with drop issues, the Steelers tight ends could use some work.

Tomlin said he isn't concerning himself with trade talks right now, as he focuses on the players he has on the roster currently.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Carolina Panthers this Thursday in their final preseason game before finalizing their 53-man roster.
