Realistic waiver options to fill the Steelers tight end needs

While most of the roster seems fit - from inside linebacker to wide receiver and everything in between, there's one glooming need this team will have to address before next week.
Vance McDonald remains a strong option as a starting tight end in this league. Despite drop problems throughout the preseason, McDonald is the Steelers guy, and will remain their guy throughout the year.
But with the underperformance of Zack Gentry, the Steelers are looking for a backup option. Xavier Grimble has proven before he's not a worthy number two in the NFL, and without Jesse James this team is stuck with almost no options to backup McDonald.
Leaving two realistic waiver wire claims to make this weekend. Sitting towards the middle of the claim, Pittsburgh can't shoot for a guy like Luke Wilson. Although they'd love to bring him on, chances are he's not around by the time they can claim.
Which give Pittsburgh slim pickings but valuable options to bring in as McDonald's rest - Alize Mack and Jordan Leggett.
While Mack isn't your usual option, he is an interesting one. The Notre Dame stud contains all the value of a tight end but has hit some road blocks along the way. If he can keep his head on the game and improve as a blocker he'll be a reliable bench option for any NFL team.
Leggett has played his fair share of NFL games but has yet to stick with a team. Most recently released by the Bucs, the former Clemson standout is overcoming injury to prove himself in this league.
He's been given a chance to prove himself before and done, well, okay. In Pittsburgh, he won't be relied on to do much, but if he can be a security blanket he's someone to consider.
