PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. got his professional football career off to a hot start in 2023, earning selection to the PFWA All-Rookie Team following a successful first season in the NFL.

But Porter isn't satisfied with where he is at right now and believes he's only scratching the surface of what he's capable of. So he sent a message to Steelers fans over Instagram this week, promising that "Y'all ain't seen nothing yet," and he's "Just getting started."

Porter, the 32nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, finished his rookie campaign with 43 total tackles, 10 passes defended, an interception and a tackle for loss in 17 games, 11 of which were starts. He finished fifth in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting after stepping up to become the Steelers' surfire top cornerback down the stretch of the regular season and into the playoffs.

Porter will hope to build on that standout first year as a pro and help the Steelers build towards bigger heights in 2024.
