Pre-Game

Noah - The Cincinnati Bengals look to win their first game of the season as they host the Jacksonville Jaguars. Not an important matchup for the AFC, but one that could offer some excitement. Gardner Minshew looks to get back on track, and should have a strong game against the Bengals secondary. On the other side, Andy Dalton needs to show he can win games before he continues to head down the wrong path before the offseason. 

Second Quarter

6:30 - Josh Lambo made 21-yard field goal.

Noah - This game is everything we expected and some. Neither offense is capable of getting anything going and the defenses are doing just enough to keep them out of field goal range. 

It's not the most exciting matchup, but it's clear that the Bengals remain a non-threat in the NFL. This game could be their first win of the season, though. 

1:25 - Andy Dalton 2-yard pass to Joe Mixon.

• Jaguars 3 | Bengals 7

Noah - The Bengals are on the board and in the lead! Cincy gets a solid drive going and finishes it off with a Joe Mixon touchdown. Still not a ton of productivity from the Bengals offense, but their game-leading drive heading into the half will give them a spark going into the third quarter.

Noah - The Jaguars march it down the field in a little over a minute to kick a field goal and get one last score before half. The Bengals defense is still playing well through the first half, and their offense got the score they needed to take the lead. 

This is going to be a second-half game for a team that's struggled to maintain its composure throughout the season. Cincinnati will need to continue relying on their defense to keep it under control, but Andy Dalton and the offense need to star producing more points.
