Star QB Names Steelers One of Favorite Opponents
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are 1-3 against the Buffalo Bills when Josh Allen is the starter. But in the Pro Bowler's eyes, they remain one of the toughest matchups in the NFL, and a team he's always locked in when facing them.
Speaking with CBS Sports and former Steelers cornerback Bryant McFadden, Allen said the Steelers are always one of the best opponents on the Bills' schedule, and a matchup he looks forward to.
"I’ve always been a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers," Allen said. "I think the best should get the best. I’ve been fortunate enough to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers the last four years now. They’ve gotten me a couple times, though."
In four games against Pittsburgh, Allen has thrown eight touchdowns and three interceptions. This includes his four-touchdown performance in the Wild Card round of the playoffs this season.
The Steelers won't face Buffalo this season, marking just the second year in Allen's career he won't face Pittsburgh and the first time since 2018 that the two teams won't meet.
