Former Steelers WR Antonio Brown Finally Admits Major Fault From Career
PITTSBURGH -- It's been a long and windy road since Antonio Brown left the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018. With stops in Las Vegas, New England and Tampa Bay to follow, Browns' NFL career ended on rocky terms, and as he enters a new chapter of his football journey, he's ready to admit some faults about his playing days.
Brown recently became the majority owner of the Albany Empire, a National Arena League team that his father, Eddie Brown, starred on the 1990s.
As a new owner, Brown spent a minute to reflect on his time as a player, and sent out a tweet confessing he had the wrong mindset during his time in the NFL.
"As a owner I finally see now why it's important to make everyone know no one is bigger then the Team '! As a player I always thought opposite !," Brown tweeted.
Brown's NFL days are behind him, but with ownership as his new role in the sport, maybe it's a turning point for some of the actions that left a distaste in fans at the end of his career.
As an owner of the Empire, Brown is set to move to Albany with his focus on running the team and continuing other professions, such as his rap career. There have even been talks about him becoming a player-coach and suiting up in the Arena League.
