Steelers Rivals Browns Shut Down Deshaun Watson for Season
PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers rivals the Cleveland Browns are shutting down quarterback Deshaun Watson for the remainder of the season as he's set to undergo shoulder surgery, the team announced.
Watson has been dealing with a shoulder injury for most of the season and has battled through six games to try and push past it. However, after undergoing an MRI, the Browns discovered Watson suffered two injuries in Week 10 and will undergo surgery to have a bone chip removed.
He's expected to return in 2024.

Without Watson, the Browns will turn to P.J. Walker as their starter for the remainder of the season. Walker is 1-1 as a starter this year, throwing for 618 yards and one touchdown, but has thrown five interceptions.
The Steelers will travel to Cleveland this weekend to face the Browns for a second time this year. They defeated them in Week 2, 26-22.
