Steelers Get Good George Pickens Injury News
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers will have their star wide receiver on the field in Week 12. Despite dealing with a shin injury throughout the week, George Pickens is set to play with no limitations against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Pickens was a surprise addition to the Steelers' Week 12 injury report. He missed the first day of practice, and was limited on Day 2. He finished the week as a full participant and will now be good to go for gameday.
The second-year receiver is looking for a breakout game after the offense made a change at coordinator. With Eddie Faulkner promoted following the firing of Matt Canada, the offense as a whole, including Pickens, will be looking for better success.
After three 100-yard games in the first six weeks, Pickens has failed to surpass the 50-yard mark in the last four games. Kenny Pickett has also struggled in that span, throwing just one touchdown in those four games.
The Steelers were hit with bad injury news as Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring) and Montravius Adams (ankle) will miss the game. James Pierre (shoulder) is listed as questionable.
