Pittsburgh Steelers: J.J. Watt is ‘Retiring From Retirement’ And Headed to Football

Well Pittsburgh Steelers fans, here's the news you hoped for. Kind of.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- Well, well, NFL fans, it appears J.J. Watt is stepping back into the game of football. Unfortunately, it's not the kind that will land him on the Pittsburgh Steelers roster this season.

Watt, the third brother to one current Steeler, T.J. Watt, and one former Steelers, Derrek Watt, announced he is "retiring from retirement" and becoming a minority owner of a football team. The European kind.

Watt and his wife Kealia are becoming minority investors in Burnley Football Club of the English Premier League.

Disappointing announcement, right? Well, Watt has made it known he's becoming a fan of the Steelers this season, so at least Pittsburgh fans have that. And if owning a soccer team doesn't solve the itch of retirement boredom, you'd have to imagine Watt's favorite team to return to would be the one his brother is on.

It's not the news anyone hoped for, but maybe don't give up on J.J. and T.J. teaming up in the black and gold just yet.
