Steelers Making Major Upgrade to Acrisure Stadium... Bathrooms

Pittsburgh Steelers will see very noticeable changes to Acrisure Stadium this season.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are committed to upgrading their home field, Acrisure Stadium, after their new deal on a name change. And for fans sitting in the upper levels, they're getting a big change coming to the restrooms.

First reported by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a team spokesperson has confirmed with All Steelers that the organization is spending roughly $1.4 million to upgrade 12 restrooms within the stadium. The team is expected to cover the cost.

According to the Post-Gazette, the biggest changes will come to four men’s restrooms on the upper level - two on the east and two on the west sides, with individual urinals replacing troughs.

For those who've been waiting for more privacy during in-game restroom visits, relief is now coming, as 95 urinals will replace the troughs within the stadium. All four restrooms will also get a new floor coating.

Eight woman's restrooms will get the new floor coatings as well. This is on top of yearly maintenance to all the restrooms.

Upgrades are expected to take place over the next few months.

Acrisure Stadium has already made upgrades and changes to parts of the stadium, like the scoreboard. Those improvements will continue after the restrooms.
