PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers saw enough at their rookie minicamp over the weekend to add a new running back to their roster.

The Steelers added former Morgan State tailback Alfonzo Graham at the conclusion of rookie minicamp. He was one of 51 players in all invited to Pittsburgh for a tryout and four running backs in all to be invited.

Graham lead the MEAC in rushing yards last season, becoming the only player in the conference to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark with 1,150 yards and eight touchdowns.

The 5'9 and 185-pound back began his career at Arizona Wesleyan before transferring to Independence Community College in Kansas, where he went through spring practices before transferring again to Fullerton Community College, another powerhouse in the world of JuCo football.

He found a home at Morgan State for his final season and finished with more than 2,000 career rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns.

Graham will compete with Master Teague and Anthony McFarland for the team's final running back spot behind Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.
