Pranked: Schefter Reports Ravens  on Verge of Lamar Jackson Trade

Baltimore Ravens fans didn't like this one.

The Baltimore Ravens are shipping Lamar Jackson to the Washington Commanders? The Pittsburgh Steelers will no longer have to worry about the former MVP? Nope, it was just a joke from ESPN's top NFL reporter.

During an appearance on Barstool Sports' Pardon My Take, ESPN's Adam Schefter decided he'd pull a prank on the hosts by dropping some fake Lamar Jackson news - that he's close to being traded to the Washington Commanders.

Now, it was simply a prank and the Ravens are not close on a trade for the former MVP. That being said, the Commanders have been named a possible landing spot by NFL insders like Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.

For now, Steelers fans will have to shut down the excitement they got before they realized it was a joke, and Ravens fans can take a deep breath knowing Jackson isn't leaving, for now.
