Injury Report
Noah - The Steelers adjusted their offensive line to prepare for Aaron Donald. Chuks Okorafor will start at right tackle and Matt Feiler moves to left guard. A strange move considering they just signed B.J. Finney to a new $3 million contract, but if bigger bodies is what's required for Donald so be it.
Trey Edmunds returning from a rib injury is a major boost for the backfield. His 73 yards last week led the backfield and he'll likely get another large workload this week.
First Quarter
Rams 7 | Steelers 7
Noah - A slow start - very slow start - but this offense is starting to click. Mason Rudolph needs to continue improving his confidence. On defense, they said all wee that stopping Todd Gurley is how they'll win the battle. So far, he's seen a few big runs. That needs to change.
Second Quarter
Rams 7 | Steelers 14
Noah - Your weekly reminder that Minkah Fitzpatrick was worth whatever the Steelers wanted to give up for him. This is back-to-back games with a touchdown for the safety. He's one of the best players in the NFL and the more he plays the more he lets you know he's the playmaker this defense needed.
Mason Rudolph and offense can get moving and they've proven it. The Rams get the ball to start the second half, but Jared Goff is feeling the pressure and the Steelers defense is just getting started.
Third Quarter
Rams 10 | Steelers 14
Noah - It's on the offense. If the Steelers are going to walk away with their fourth-straight victory it'll be through a score from someone other than Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Mason Rudolph has been throwing into tight windows and he's been accurate. His receivers are dropping balls, which cannot happen if they want to come out with a win. It's time for the skill players to help their quarterback.
Fourth Quarter
Rams 12 | Steelers 17
Noah - Welcome home, Aaron Donald. I can't say I support running a play action in your own end zone with the front seven the Rams have, but I'm not an offensive coordinator. I guess.
It should probably 17-10, but until they're here and Mason Rudolph is doing whatever he can to keep his team alive. He's throwing into perfect windows, his team is finally catching and holding the ball, and he took his offense into the red zone for a field goal.
They would've loved a touchdown but keeping this game above a field goal is going to be big as they head into the final two minutes. It comes down to the defense.
