Steelers Could Make One Final Trade
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have done a lot to their roster this offseason, and despite free agency calming down and the trade noise quieting, it doesn't appear they're done just yet. According to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Gerry Dulac, the team may have one final trick up their sleeve before the NFL Draft.
During his weekly chat, Dulac said he believes the team's bigger moves are behind them, but a trade is still on the table as they move forward.
"I would never say never. But I think the major moves are done, though I still won’t rule out a trade of some significance," Dulac wrote.
The Steelers have been linked to wide receiver trades over the last several weeks, with Brandon Aiyuk being the top candidate for a move. After nothing happened immediately, those rumors started to fade, and with San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch claiming the team would like to extend him, they went away.
Now, it appears everything is back on the table for the Steelers. Aiyuk appears to be the most-likely candidate, but with the Houston Texans acquiring Stefon Diggs, maybe three names from Texas are on the board for Pittsburgh as well.
