PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to bring in Iowa superstar Cooper DeJean for a top 30 pre-draft visit, according to The Athletic's Mike DeFabo.

DeJean recently hosted his own Pro Day after being cleared to return to the field following a leg injury late in the 2023 season. He ran roughly a 4.42 40-yard dash and impressed scouts with his performance - his first since the injury.

Now, he's headed to Pittsburgh to speak with the coaching staff and likely some of the medical team about potentially joining the Steelers. League sources have told All Steelers throughout the NFL Draft process that DeJean was very high on the team's list of prospects this spring.

DeJean comes to the NFL after posting seven interceptions and 120 tackles during his college career. He also returned punts, totalling 406 yards and a touchdown.

The Steelers are looking for cornerback help with just Joey Porter Jr. and Donte Jackson carrying notable experience with them into the season. The rest of the depth chart is Cory Trice and Darius Rush, who did not play or played very minimaly in 2023.

DeJean could be viewed as one of their top options with the 20th pick, if he's still on the board.
