ORLANDO -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have made plenty of headlines this offseason, with the most-recent ones circulating around a possible trade at wide receiver.

After sending Diontae Johnson to the Carolina Panthers, the Steelers need another starter alongside George Pickens. One option they have reportedly explored is San Francisco 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk.

Once the noise got loud enough, Aiyuk sent a tweet to Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, letting him know he's heard the two look alike. At the NFL Meetings, Tomlin was asked about the recent message and, with a slight laugh, responded.

"I've heard a lot of that recently, yes," Tomlin said with a smirk.

A trade for Aiyuk would only add to an already big offseason for the Steelers. To this point, they've traded Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles and Johnson to the Panthers, signed Russell Wilson, and acquired Justin Fields through a trade with the Chicago Bears.

They also signed Patrick Queen, bringing the star linebacker over from the Baltimore Ravens.

Aiyuk is coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and, at 26 years old, has totaled 25 touchdowns in four NFL seasons.

He'll need an extension if traded for and is already set to make $14 million this season. If Pittsburgh does acquire him, though, they'd bulk up an offense that is looking to take a massive step forward this season. And, of course, the comments about him and Tomlin being "twins" will only continue.
