My Franco Harris Story

On the anniversary of the Pittsburgh Steelers' greatest play, here's how I've learned to remember Franco Harris.

In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- Everyone seems to have a Franco Harris story to tell about the amazing person the Pittsburgh Steelers legend was. I have one as well. 

Mine is different. I've only met Harris a few times, and there is no way he remembers the kid from Scranton, Pennsylvania who joked with him about Michael Scott being my uncle. But I remembered him, and everyone who told me about him helped me grow what I knew about the Hall of Famer. 

Credit needs to be given to a number of people; my father for teaching me about legends, my friend Jim Wexell for telling me not to tell a story I don't have, and everyone who's spent time to tell me about the amazing person behind the Immaculate Reception.

My story isn't like everyone else's, but it's still exactly how I'll remember Franco Harris.
