PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers legend James Harrison always makes people pay. And this time, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has a story about how some smack talk when wrong, adding him to the list of Harrison victims in the NFL.

Speaking with his brother, Jason, and Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley on their New Heights podcast, Kelce told the story of smack talk gone bad, leading to Harrison making sure the tight end never talked to him during a game again.

"I’ll tell you what, I talked smack to the wrong guy. James Harrison, man. I ended up getting his wrath," Kelce said. "He played the outside backer position where he’d be sometimes be over number two in the slot. We’re playing in Pittsburgh. I’m talking a little bit of s*** to him. He’s staring at me with the black visor. Can’t really see if he’s looking at me but I know he’s looking at me. Because he’s not saying anything.

"Couple quarters go by. I’m looking in at the ball because it’s a silent cadence. Just absolutely smoked me off the line of scrimmage. F***** up the whole play. I’m going to (quarterback Alex Smith) like, ‘I don’t what you want me to do there.’ I’m looking at the ball. He’s looking at my blindside. Obviously never talked s*** to him again."

It's hard to tell what game it was exactly, but another story of Harrison making someone pay will always bring a smile to Steelers fans' faces.

Kelce eventually did talk a little more smack about Harrison, but this time directed at a call during the 2016 Divisional Round of the playoffs. Cheifs offensive tackle Eric Fisher was called for a holding call on Harrison that Kelce wasn't a fan of, taking back a successful 2-point conversation and eventually leading to a Steelers victory.

After the game, Kelce didn't hold back against the refs, saying they "shouldn’t even be able to work at f****** Foot Locker."
