Watch: Steelers' Justin Fields Shows Off Arm Strength
PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers fans continues to get a glimpse into what their new quarterback can bring to the field as Justin Fields is posting workout videos, showing off some of the things he's been doing over the offseason.
In his latest showcase, Fields is caught on camera dropping a 65-yard bomb while working out with several wide receivers in South Florida. He was training with former Steelers wideout Chase Claypool at one time during his trip.
Fields is set to compete from behind against Russell Wilson, but not everyone is ruling him out as the Week 1 starter. The 25-year-old is 10-28 in the NFL but has shown plenty of potential with his arm and his legs.
Pittsburgh is hoping they can find a quarterback of the future in Fields, allowing him to grow with Wilson around and then be able to take the reigns and lead this team for years to come. For now, he might be on the bench, but the potential he continues to show is impressive.
