People Have Jokes About Travis Kelce After Taylor Swift Drops New Album
1. Taylor Swift dropped her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, at midnight Friday and everyone lost their minds.
A couple of hours after the release, Swift announced that The Tortured Poets Department is actually a double album and she released 15 more tracks and everyone REALLY lost their minds.
Naturally, the album release put Swfit's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, in the spotlight.
The Swifties have concluded that Kelce is referenced on two songs, "The Alchemy" and "So High School." This development led to some amusing tweets.
2. It's wild to see where Nikola Jokić is on this list considering he's about to win his third MVP.
3. Todd McShay has been as much a staple of the NFL draft as anyone for many years. He started with ESPN in 2006, but was let go from the network in 2023 and won't be part of the coverage next week when the draft begins. He sent out an update about his absence to his Twitter followers Friday morning.
4. I'm beginning to think Tom Brady is just messing with people now about a potential comeback. I think he's having fun getting everyone all riled up, especially after he posted this on Thursday.
5. It would be a crime if I did not acknowledge the birthday of one of the all-time legendary sports broadcasters. Bill Raftery turns 81 years old today. Enjoy this compilation of some of his excellent work.
6. A brand new episode of SI Media with Jimmy Traina dropped on Wednesday and it features a conversation with the new WWE Undisputed Heavyweight champion, Cody Rhodes.
Rhodes talks about "finishing his story" at WrestleMania 40 by beating Roman Reigns for the title, the epic main event which featured appearances by John Cena and The Undertaker and whether he had a moment with Reigns after the match.
Rhodes also discusses the WWE changing the WrestleMania event after it was announced that it would be The Rock vs. Reigns, the WWE pushing the envelope with its content during the storyline of Rhodes vs. The Bloodline, the special gift that Triple H gave him after the WrestleMania main event, the Undertaker taking the place of “Stone Cold" Steve Austin during the main event and Paul Heyman's Hall of Fame speech.
