Ravens Stars Mark Andrews, Zay Flowers Limited in Tuesday Practice
The Baltimore Ravens had the benefit of a first-round bye in this season's playoffs, but that doesn't mean that they won't be dealing with injuries when they face the Houston Texans this weekend.
The Ravens released an updated injury report on Tuesday, and four players were listed as "limited" in practice, including stars Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers.
Tight end Mark Andrews is designated to return from injured reserve this week after suffering an ankle injury in mid-November. The hope in Baltimore, however, is that he can return and make an impact that could end in a Super Bowl appearance.
Prior to his injury, Andrews amassed 45 receptions, for 544 yards and six touchdowns, good for 12.1 yards per catch.
Wideout Zay Flowers (calf), linebacker Malik Harrison (groin), and linebacker Odafe Oweh (ankle) were also limited in Tuesday's practice ahead of the team's matchup this weekend against the Texans.
C.J. Stroud Among Six Finalists for Rookie of the Year
The Ravens rode a hot streak through the 2023 regular season, finishing with a mark of 13-4 and the top seed in the AFC behind MVP-candidate quarterback Lamar Jackson. They will play host to another award-hopeful signal caller this weekend in the form of C.J. Stroud, a legitimate candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Kickoff on Saturday in Baltimore is set for 3:30 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on ESPN and ABC.
