Texans Schedule Release: Bounce Back Ahead?

Check back for the latest updates on the Texans 2023 NFL Schedule
In this story:

We now know where and when the Houston Texans will be playing in 2023.

On Thursday night, the NFL released the full schedule for the entire league, including the Texans, who are looking to bounce back to AFC South contention after a frustrating 3-42 season in 2022.

Fortunately for DeMeco Ryans and Co., their schedule could end up helping them achieve that goal, with the Texans' strength of schedule ranking as the No. 30 most difficult in the NFL.

Per NFL Research, the Texans' opponents finished 2022 a 123-163-2 record, which is good for a 43.1-percent win percentage.

To make things even easier for Houston., a good portion of their roster has been completely remade, with important new additions on both sides of the ball, including tight end Dalton Schultz, receiver Robert Woods, running back Devin Singletary, Offensive linemen Shaq Mason and Greg Little, safety Jimmy Ward, linebacker Denzel Perryman and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins, among others, all making their way to the Texans this offseason.

Not to mention, the Texans had arguably the most impactful draft in the NFL last month as well, with quarterback C.J. Stroud, edge rusher Will Anderson Jr., and wide receiver Tank Dell all expected to make impacts next season.

In other words, with so many new faces, and such an influx of talent on the roster, in combination with a much easier schedule, the Texans could be in for a nice bounce-back year in 2023.
