HOUSTON — Sunday could be the Houston Texans' final home game of the 2023 season when they welcome the Tennessee Titans to NRG Stadium. Week 17 is a must-win for the Texans to keep their playoff hopes alive.

But for the first time since going down with a season-ending injury, rookie wide receiver Tank Dell will try to give his team a boost from the sideline. Dell will serve as the Texans' final "Rep H-Town" honoree of the season before the noon kick-off.

"What’s up Texans fans? It’s your boy, Tank," Dell said via social media. "I can’t wait to be Reppin' H-Town Sunday before kick-off. I need y’all there early and I need y’all to be loud.”

Dell sustained a broken fibula during the Texans' Week 13 victory over the Denver Broncos, which required season-ending surgery on Dec. 4.

He went down during the final seconds of the first quarter. Dell helped the Texans create a hole for running back Dameon Pierce, who scored a three-yard touchdown during the play. Unfortunately, Dell's contributions led to the leg injury.

Dell has played a prominent role in the Texans' success throughout the 2023 season. After the Texans made the former University of Houston prospect a third-round pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, Dell has established himself as one of the best young wideouts in the league.

Across 10 games, Dell has recorded 709 yards on 47 catches and seven touchdowns. The relationship between Dell and rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has developed into one of the top chemistries on and off the field.
