Texans WR Nico Collins Named to PFF Team of the Week After Huge Game vs. Indianapolis
The Houston Texans are AFC South champions, and after a playoff-clinching win over the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, some performances from the night are still worth remembering.
Texans wide receiver Nico Collins was named to Pro Football Focus' Team of the Week in Week 18, earning a PFF grade of 92.4 against Indianapolis, the best mark among wideouts in the NFL for the week.
Even after a 75-yard touchdown reception on the Texans' first play from scrimmage on Saturday, Collins had a monster night at wideout, catching all nine of his targets for 195 yards in the 23-19 win.
Collins is looking to carry that momentum into the postseason with the Texans in a win-or-go-home rematch with the Cleveland Browns in the NFL's Super Wild Card Weekend. Cleveland picked up a 36-22 win in Houston in Week 16 while Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud was in concussion protocol, and both of these teams have experienced a strong revival this season behind solid quarterback play.
