J.J. to TV? Could Texans Legend Watt Join NBC 'Sunday Night Football'?

There are reportedly multiple TV networks vying for the services of the clever and colorful Texans legend J.J. Watt.
In this story:

In his time with the Houston Texans, both in the locker room and in the community, the legendary J.J. Watt showed himself to be a bigger-than-life personality.

And now it seems the man who is arguably the franchise's greatest-ever player might get a chance to be "big'' via a job in television.

According to a report from Awful Announcing, NBC Sports is targeting Watt for national TV work. The word is that the recently retired defensive lineman (after having ended his career as a member of the Arizona Cardinals) could work in the network's Big Ten studio show. ... obviously seen as a fit in part because Watt played a superstar role in college football while at Wisconsin.

There are reportedly other networks also vying for the services of the clever, conscientious and colorful Watt, and so it is possible he might be able to almost "name his role'' as the result of a bidding war of sorts. But there is double logic in the NBC idea - at least in the minds of the people who run NBC - as he could work both in the studio as a marquee name for its Big Ten road show and then also possibly win a high-profile role on "Sunday Night Football" as well.
