Trevor Lawrence Active For Jaguars; Texans AFC South Spoiler?

Trevor Lawrence's participation in Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans could prove to be a spoiler for the Houston Texans' division title chances.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is dealing with a right shoulder injury, but he is officially listed as active on Sunday when his team faces the Tennessee Titans.

Following their 23-19 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night, the Houston Texans would win the AFC South if the Jaguars fall to the Titans on Sunday afternoon. Lawrence's participation in the game, however, gives Jacksonville a stronger chance to come away with the win and claim the division championship for themselves in the process.

The good news for Houston, however, is that regardless of Sunday's result, it will be in the playoffs anyway after Saturday's win. It would, of course, help with playoff seeding should the Texans gain the AFC South title, but their appearance in the postseason is secured with at least a wild card berth.

Kickoff on Sunday between the Jaguars and the Titans is scheduled for 12 p.m. CT, and the game will be televised on CBS.
