WATCH: Houston Texans Tie Cincinnati Bengals on Tank Dell Touchdown Reception

The Houston Texans finally found the scoreboard in the second quarter of Sunday's game.

The Houston Texans found themselves trailing the Cincinnati Bengals 7-0 after a wasted scoring opportunity late in the first quarter, but they made up for a C.J. Stroud fumbled snap with a passing score in the second quarter.

Stroud connected with fellow rookie Tank Dell for a passing score with just over 10 minutes left in the half to tie the game at seven. You can view the six-yard touchdown below.

The Bengals struck first in the game on their opening possession as Joe Burrow connected with Trenton Irwin on a perfect pass from 32 yards out. That touchdown marked the only points seen in the first quarter after the Texans drove deep into Cincinnati territory and fumbled the ball on fourth and one, giving the ball back to the Bengals.

This score for Houstoon marks Stroud's 15th touchdown pass on the season, and Dell has now scored five times as the rookie duo continues to make waves and headlines in the NFL. Stroud has found himself in the Rookie of the Year conversation as well as he has helped the Texans surpass their win total from a season ago with four victories so far in 2023.

Sunday's game in Cincinnati marks the meeting of two young quarterbacks who once called the Ohio State Buckeyes home. Stroud is in his first year of professional ball out of OSU, and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow began his career at Ohio State before transferring and winning a national championship with the LSU Tigers in 2019.
