Telling The Truth, We Have No Idea What's Going To Happen

The Tennessee Titans are going to draft. The Houston Texans select, we don't know, and won't until they make the actual pick in ten days.

NASHVILLE - Let me begin by being totally and brutally honest with everyone; we in the media, myself included, have no stinking idea what the Tennessee Titans, or any other team, outside of perhaps the Carolina Panthers.

Besides that, we're clueless and grasping at every possible scenario in the hopes of getting it right come draft day.

That's why I have written things the way I have, cautious not to sound as if I have some inside information on what Ran Carthon and Mike Vrabel are planning.

It's all speculation, though some can be lifted from looking at the top 3o list of visitors the Titans have hosted.

All four top quarterbacks have been in town, including Anthony Richardson, the fourth, visiting on Monday. That indicates that the Titans are interested in a quarterback but do not know if they intend to move up to select one.

Looking further into this list, the Titans have had several late day one or day two projected players visiting, including Mohamad Diabate, Hendon Hooker, Jaelyn Duncan, Quan Martin, Tank Dell, DJ Johnson, and Jacob Copeland are among them.

Of course, players considered near the top of the draft, like Broadrick Jones and Quintin Johnston, have also visited.

However, if you look at the number of potential day-two players, could there be a clue as to what the Titans are thinking?

Perhaps, but to print that would be more speculation on my part, so let's speculate.

It could be that the Titans are covering all their bases on their potential second and third-round picks, or it could be, as some others have already speculated, an indication that the Titans might be in the market to trade down from No.11 to secure more picks, and want to have their plan in place to know who they should target with any additional picks they might acquire,

Or, it could mean nothing at all, and this could be just more useless speculation.

Either way, it's all we have, and it's not much because when it comes down to it, we have no clue what the Titans plan is and won't until draft day!
