Analyst Makes Bold Statement on Titans QB

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis had a strong performance against the Houston Texans in Week 12, which has led this analyst to reveal a bold claim on the signal-caller.

The Tennessee Titans put together a shocking road upset win over the Houston Texans on Sunday, coming away with a 32-27 victory.

In the process, Titans quarterback Will Levis had one of his best performances of the season, going 18-for-24 with 278 yards, a couple of touchdowns and an interception.

There has been much deliberation as to whether or not Tennessee will move forward with Levis or draft another quarterback for 2025, but Justin Melo of Titan Sized actually feels that Levis' Week 12 performance should cement him under center for next season.

"Levis flashed legitimate growth as a quarterback for the third consecutive week," Melo wrote. "That's also the Levis experience, one that's proving it deserves an extended look into 2025 and perhaps beyond."

Melo added that "winning in Houston helps his chances of sticking around" and also noted how improved the Titans' offene has looked in recent weeks.

Here's the thing, though: Tennessee needs to be careful about committing to Levis just based on one showing.

Of course, if Levis continues to show progress throughout the rest of the regular season, then by all means, give him another chance.

But we shouldn't forget how rough of a campaign Levis has had as a whole.

In eight starts this season, the 25-year-old has thrown for 1,447 yards, 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions while completing 67 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 85.6.

To be fair, Levis does not have a whole lot of help, as evidenced by the fact that he was sacked eight times against the Texans. But he also hasn't shown a whole lot to make anyone think that he can be the Titans' quarterback of the future.

We'll see what Tennessee decides to do under center in the spring.
