NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry has been used sparingly in recent training camps and while he is still getting his fair share of rest at this year's event, Henry has been more active in 2023.

Henry was asked about this increased activity and getting more reps than he has in recent years. Henry spoke about how that's going and why the increased reps were needed.

"Honestly, it's a new offense, man," Henry explained. "You got to get reps in and get used to everything. Wanting to be out there with the guys. You really just get the reps in with the new offense and getting used to everything and come out here and try to get better."

The offense may be new, but we know that Henry will still be the focal point for that offense. Regardless, Henry knows the offense will only be as good as those around him.

"I think it's going to take everybody. Very fortunate to help this franchise and be a big part of this offense," Henry said. "It's going to take everybody. Everybody makes plays, the ball will go around for everybody and get opportunities to help us each and every week. We got some great guys to make plays for us, so excited about that."

At the end of the day though, Henry knows the pressure will be on him to delivery for this team. The increased workload should help him deliver out of the gate. Henry knows that pressure only makes him better. Whether it be 10 carries or 100, Henry is ready to deliver whatever the Titans need.

"I embrace it all. It don't matter. Pressure makes diamonds, so I ain't tripping at all. Whatever it takes. I'm going to go out there and help the team."
