The Tennessee Titans made a prominent addition to their injury report Friday.

Punter Brett Kern was listed a limited participant due to a right groin injury. To be clear: Kern kicks with his right leg.

The two-time Pro Bowler has earned rave reviews for his performance through the first four weeks, particularly Sunday’s victory at Atlanta when all five of his punts forced the Falcons to start drives inside their own 20-yard line.

“We started our drives on the 33 last week, they started theirs on the 22,” coach Mike Vrabel said. “So that’s a big deal in any league. … You just can’t say enough about (Kern’s) consistency.”

Of Kern’s 25 punts this season, 14 have ended up inside the opponents’ 20 while just two have resulted in touchbacks.

He never has missed a game in his 12-year NFL career. The Titans do not have another punter on the roster so as long as no move is made before Sunday, there is no reason to think he won’t play.

One aspect of the injury report that has not changed is that outside linebacker Cameron Wake did not practice. Coaches have not ruled out the pass rush specialist, who has not practiced at all this week, for Sunday’s contest with the Buffalo Bills at Nissan Stadium.

Offensive lineman Kevin Pamphile (knee) is the only one who has been declared out for Sunday’s game, which is consistent with what Vrabel said a day earlier.

Running back David Fluellen was moved to injured reserve to create the necessary spot for left tackle Taylor Lewan to return to the active roster following his four-game suspension.

The Bills got good news as quarterback Josh Allen, who started the week in the concussion protocol, was a full participant for the first time. Allen was a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday.

The week’s final injury report for the Titans and Bills.
