New Look Titans Offensive Line Taking Shape

It's still early, and things can change, but we can see this unit taking shape with the additions of two new free-agent offensive linemen.

NASHVILLE - Since the additions of Andre Dillard and Daniel Brunskill to the Tennessee Titans roster through free agency, there is expectedly going to be a new look to the offensive line in 2023

Just what that overall look will be remain to be seen, and we won't get our first glimpse at it until perhaps training camp. Still, we have a glimpse of what is being built.

Putting Some Of The Pieces Together

Dillard is a guy who came into the league as a left tackle, but some now say he is better suited at guard, likewise with Brunskill, who can play all five positions but has spent his best time as a right tackle.

The return of Nicholas Petite-Frere at right tackle would suggest that Brunskill would kick inside to one of the guard spots, most likely on the right side, and depending on what the Titans do in the remainder of free agency and the draft, Dillard will fill a sport on the left side.

The Draft

The Titans have been linked to Ohio State's left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. in most early mock drafts. However, some have also given Peter Skoronski, the Northwestern tackle, to the Titans in other mocks.

The Titans also held an official interview with Florida guard O'Cyrus Torrance at the combine.

Nothing is written in stone, but it would make sense for the Titans to add at least one offensive lineman in the draft.

Torrance is the top guard prospect, though many believe Skoronski is better suited because of his short arm's length.

Precisely what the finished product will look like rests on the potential lineman the Titans decide to select in the draft, but the players we've mentioned all would be great additions to this rebuilding effort.

The Rest Of The Current Roster

Dillon Radunz is the guy that has the best shot of the others on the offensive line to make an impact and land a starter's spot, likely at guard.

Then there is Jamarco Jones, Jordan Roos, Xavier Newman-Johnson, John Legiue, and Zack Johnson rounding out the current stable of blockers.

Granted, this list isn't awe-inspiring, but it is what is there, and perhaps there could be some diamonds in the rough in this group.

Conclusion

It's too early to try to slot people into positions, mostly because of the unknowns of the remainder of free agency, where a player like Orlando Brown Jr. still remains available, and the unknowns of the draft, but we can see at least the outline beginning to take shape.
