NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans rookies, consisting of the draft class and undrafted signings, completed their rookie mini-camp this past weekend and now will join the rest of the veterans as part of the roster. While it may be too early to make any proclamations, there are definitely some big questions that come to mind as the rookies become part of the team.

How long until Will Levis passes Malik Willis?

Will Levis was the star of the rookie mini-camp, but that should have been expected. He is the shiny new toy at the position people care about the most. However, Mike Vrabel has said Levis is QB3 as he begins his career and the question is for how long?

It may not be fair to second-year player Malik Willis, but Levis comes in with way more experience in the type of offense the Titans run. Also, Levis played in the two best college football conferences in the country. A far cry from Liberty, competition-wise. Everyone knew Willis needed a development year, so now that he has had it, can Willis hold off Levis for backup quarterback?

Which Offensive playmakers will emerge?

The Titans are famished when it comes to offensive playmaking. They have Derrick Henry, Treylon Burks and Chig Okonkwo as their primary trio right now and while Titans fans will be excited, looking at the rest of the league should make you nervous. Looking past those three though is even scarier.

With the void the Titans have on offense, there will be opportunities for young players to emerge. Tyjae Spears at running back could instantly add an explosive element to the backfield. Tight end Josh Whyle already impressed with some grabs during mini-camp, will that translate to the next stage? Also, some rookie receivers in seventh rounder Colton Dowell and UDFA Jacob Copeland could surprise.

Can any non-offensive rookies make roster?

The Titans focused a ton on additions on the offensive side of the ball this offseason. The biggest free agent deal the Titans made was with an offensive lineman and they went all offense in the NFL draft. What room does that leave a young defender or special teamer?

The Titans added pass rusher Caleb Murphy out of Ferris State as an UDFA and he will have a good chance to make the team with how thin the Titans are at the position. Also, rookie kicker Trey Wolff only has Caleb Shudak as competition. Shudak is a second-year player out of Iowa that dealt with injuries last season. Wolff will have a great chance to steal away the Titans' kicker job if he is up to it.
