Tennessee Titans Release Thursday Injury Report for Week 4 Matchup with Cincinnati Bengals
The Tennessee Titans are continuing their week of practice leading up to their Week 4 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals and with that comes another injury report. Here is the latest from Thursday's practice.
We saw a lot of big names on this injury report, but it is wise to keep in mind that the Titans often see multiple veterans sitting out on Thursdays each week. However, that is no reason to entirely ignore the list we see.
It is always a concern when you see a player not practice two straight days in a row and we see that with linebacker Luke Gifford, defensive back Elijah Molden and guard Peter Skoronski. If we don't see them get any practice action on Friday, odds are they will not play.
More alarming is the status of wide receiver Treylon Burks. Burks has yet to miss a game, but is dealing with a lingering preseason injury. Burks going from a limited participant to not participating is never a good sign. Burks also had a large brace on his injured left knee at Wednesday's session, furthering the concern.
Other than those names, there is nothing to be overly worried about for the Titans. Teair Tart was upgraded to limited and three veterans, Denico Autry, Derrick Henry and DeAndre Hopkins, are likely just getting their deserved rest with the miles they've taken in their careers.
While things may not be ideal for the Titans, they are certainly healthier than they been at most points of the last two seasons. That is little consolation when you sit at 1-2 after getting embarrassed by the Browns in Week 3, but nonetheless it should keep the Titans optimistic they can pull an upset.
The Bengals have injuries of their own, namely to quarterback Joe Burrow, but Burrow was a full participant in the Bengals' practice on Thursday, so expect Cincinnati to be relatively unaffected by injuries as well.
