Tennessee Titans Release Final Injury Report of Week 4 Ahead of Matchup Against Cincinnati Bengals
We got the final injury report for the Tennessee Titans matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday and it comes with mostly bad news for the home team. The Titans will be without four players, two of them starters, and will see two other important players head into Sunday as questionable.
We got word early on Friday that the Titans would be without wide receiver Treylon Burks, offensive lineman Peter Skoronski, defensive back Elijah Molden and linebacker Luke Gifford as head coach Mike Vrabel ruled them out when speaking to media at Friday's practice.
Per the injury report though, we now know defensive linemen Denico Autry and Teair Tart will head into the game as questionable. It is never a great week for the Titans to be missing defensive line depth, but it would be especially difficult to overcome this week when the rush is needed so much.
Autry was questionable last week as well, but was able to play in the game, so the Titans have to be hoping the same happens this week. Autry is an experienced veteran, so if anyone can play with limited practice time it is him.
In a bit of good news for the Titans, for the first time in two weeks, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will not be questionable heading into the matchup. With Burks out, Hopkins will be asked to do even more for the Titans' offense.
On the Bengals' side of things, quarterback Joe Burrow, who was limited with a calf injury in Week 3, was a full participant in all three days of practice. There was no doubt Burrow would suit up for this game, but if anyone was still unconvinced, there is the proof.
The Bengals will be without tight end Irv Smith Jr. and wide receiver Charlie Jones. Jones is the Bengals' punt returner and took one 80 yards for a score in Week 2. His ability will be missed, but overall, the Bengals walk in as the much healthier team.
