Tennessee Titans Release First Injury Report of Week 1 Ahead of Matchup with Saints

The Tennessee Titans are no stranger to injury issues, but the first injury report of Week 1 brought some good news for the Titans.

The Tennessee Titans begin their regular season on Sunday and with that comes the beginning of weekly injury reports. The Titans released their first of the year ahead of their matchup with the New Orleans Saints which gave us injury updates on the opposition as well.

The biggest and also most exciting takeaways for the Titans are the status of Arden Key and Treylon Burks. Both were full participants on Wednesday and both are players that Titans desperately need out on the field.

Key had missed some practice time recently with the calf issue and Burk is still dealing with the knee injury he suffered while participating in joint practices with the Minnesota Vikings three weeks ago. Burks' injury specifically looked like it had terrible potential, but the Titans may have caught a break based on the injury report. Burks looks primed to play on Sunday.

As for the not so exciting news, Harold Landry was limited on the day and that should give everyone some pause as Landry is returning from a torn ACL. While the issue is not with the knee, the report says abdomen, you always have to wonder if that injury was created in anyway by compensating for the previous one.

Hopefully for Landry and the Titans, Landry is able to get to full by the end of the week. Dillon Radunz was also listed as limited which is actually a great sign. Radunz was just activated off the physically unable to perform list last week and seems to be in great shape after tearing his ACL just nine months ago.

The final note here is on Will Levis. The rookie quarterback missed the last two preseason games with a quad injury and is just now getting back to full practices. With a backup quarterback job still hanging in the balance, Levis' participation is key.

Here is a look at the Saints' first injury report.

The only name of consequence here is Marshon Lattimore who has a date with DeAndre Hopkins on Sunday. Lattimore is still expected to play, but his status is worth watching as the week moves on.
