Titans QB Will Levis Not Worried About Offensive Line, Wants to "Instill Confidence" in Group Upfront

The Tennessee Titans' offensive line is under fire after being a glaring issue for the better part of the last season and a half. One of the primary concerns due to the offensive line is the health of rookie quarterback Will Levis, but Levis isn't showing concern.

Tennessee Titans' rookie quarterback Will Levis has been impressive when given a realistic chance to throw in his first three games, but the problem has been, those opportunities are few and far between. Levis isn't letting that change his game though.

Despite all of the pressure Levis has faced so far(38% pressure rate on dropbacks) and all the pressure he is likely to face the remainder of the season, Levis is still looking to keep his own confidence and impart some of it on those around him.

Levis talked about his mindset before the Titans' first practice of the week on Wednesday.

"Just keeping your wits about you, staying within the gameplan," Levis said. "You can't let some of those factors determine how you're going to think about a play or your process. Obviously, there are some times where there are answers that you can turn to if there's a pressure, whether we're not picking up or it is coming a little faster. Just keeping your wits about you and keep instilling confidence in the guys upfront."

Levis' confidence is surely commendable, but confidence can't do much to protect him from the incoming pass rush or the injuries that could result. Even though he's only played three games, Levis has been hit 25 times which is fifteenth-most in the NFL for the season.

Levis taking a beat is even on head coach Mike Vrabel's mind. One thing about Levis though, he seems to understand that is a part of his job and is trying to keep perspective.

"It's never going to be easy in this game. It's a long season, no one is 100% healthy," Levis admitted. "Everyone's tired. You're going out there going to war every Sunday and you got to do it again in a week. It's a part of the game. I just try to focus on controlling what I can control. Which is what I've been doing."
