Titans QB Ryan Tannehill Gets Pilot License
NASHVILLE — Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill may be approach the end of his career, but one of his hobbies may be just taking off. According to Lauren Tannehill, Ryan's wife, Ryan has recently become a pilot.
In an Instagram post from Lauren earlier this week, she shared a photo of the Tannehill family standing in front of a plane with the caption: "of all the amazing things you've accomplished, this one tops the list, Pilot."
Tannehill is looking to hit the skies apparently, but he is also hoping the Titans can soar this year. The team had some turbulence at the end of 2022 that include a major ankle injury for Tannehill. The hope has to be there are some clear skies ahead for the team on the injury front so Tannehill and the offense, in particular, can get back to top speed.
Tannehill's focus will be on the upcoming season, but it is hard to ignore the bumpy flight his offseason was. Rumors of a trade or potential release were constantly in the headlines and the move to draft Will Levis certainly meant the team wanted a new pilot for the offense.
Regardless, Tannehill has found a way to spread his wing in a new offense and has been at the top of the class throughout the offseason so far. Tannehill is flying away from his competition during the summer workout phase, having outperformed Levis and second-year player Malik Willis.
Tannehill has completed an amazing accomplishment no doubt, but the more impressive one would be to hold off the young quarterbacks, stay healthy and find a way to get the Titans a playoff win in 2023. Now that, would be a smooth landing.
