The Tennessee Titans desperately needed to bounce back after an embarrassing loss in Week 3 and they did it in triumphant fashion, mauling the Cincinnati Bengals 27-3 on Sunday. Here is a look at the snaps counts on both sides of the ball in that matchup.

The snap distribution amongst running backs Derrick Henry and Tyjae Spears has been widely debated, but the Titans seem to strike the perfect balance in Week 4. Well, nearly everything they did went perfect against the Bengals.

Henry got enough time to get in a rhythm and wear down the defense, but Spears created explosive plays and gave the defense a different threat. It was a perfect display of what the backfield could be.

DeAndre Hopkins got some helpful rest, having to only play 53% of the offensive snaps. Hopkins is a veteran who is coming off an ankle injury. Any time the Titans can find to comfortably rest him during games is huge for the long-term view.

Finally, it was a great showing for rookie tight end Josh Whyle. Whyle caught two passes for 26 yards including his first career touchdown. It wasn't just Whyle's most productive day, it was his most active too. Whyle got 19 snaps in the game, his total for the previous three weeks combined was 22.

The Titans' defense eliminated the Bengals' offense after the first drive of the game that saw the Bengals move down the field and get three points. Because of the nature of the score, they were able to rotate some of the front-seven guys more than normal and it should pay dividends.

Starting outside linebackers Arden Key and Harold Landry both played less than 80% of the defensive snaps as we saw Rashad Weaver, Trevis Gipson and rookie Caleb Murphy all get reps.

Key had been a rotational player, not a starter, in his past two seasons and Landry is coming back from a torn ACL, so getting both of them some needed rest and being able to limit the snaps a bit should be valuable down the line.
