Tennessee Titans Sign Super Bowl Champion Cornerback L'Jarius Sneed to 4-year contract
NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans have seriously invested in cornerbacks this offseason. According to multiple reports, two-time Super Bowl champion L’Jarius Sneed has agreed to a four-year, $76.4 million deal with $55 million guaranteed.
The Titans acquired Sneed in a trade announced Friday night. The Titans are sending the Kansas City Chiefs a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and swapping seventh-round picks in the 2024 draft.
Sneed, who now is among the six highest-paid cornerbacks in the NFL with an annual salary of $19.1 million, is the second defensive back signed by the Titans since free agency began March 13. Chidobe Awuzie earlier signed a 3-year contract worth $36 million.
Sneed played 16 games in 2023 and had two interceptions, along with 14 passes defensed and zero touchdowns allowed. When Sneed was in coverage, he allowed a passer rating of 55.9, according to Pro Football Focus.
