Washington offensive lineman Trent Williams’ agent Vincent Taylor rebased a statement requesting his client be traded or released. "The relationship between [Washington] and Trent Williams has reached a point where it's in the best interest that [Washington] trade or release him," Taylor said. He continued to say, "Throughout the process, Williams has maintained his silence and not spoken negatively about the team nor has he pursued potential legal actions. This seems to not be a successful strategy.” Williams held out through the 2019 offseason and the first half of the regular season due to a dispute with Washington's medical staff. He didn’t play one snap the entire season.
