The Point After: Does Raiders GM Mike Mayock Know Something Other GMs Don't Know?

The Raiders first-round pick wasn't the most obvious choice - what does that say about Mayock?

As a former Draft Analyst, one would assume Mike Mayock has the competitive edge over other general managers. In this year's draft the Raiders took Henry Ruggs from Alabama, a receiver a lot of people presumed would be taken third from the pool of talented receivers; but Mayock took Ruggs first from that pool. Did Mayock make the right move? Only time will tell.
