NFLPA's DeMaurice Smith Says Tom Brady, Matthew Stafford, and Josh Norman Workouts Not in Best Interest of Safety

Tom Brady, Josh Norman, and Matthew Stafford have been running team workouts over the past few weeks

Tom Brady continues to hold group workouts with his teammates despite the NFLPA’s advisory to players to stop doing so amidst recent spikes in the coronavirus pandemic, and NFLPA president DeMaurice Smith is speaking out against the quarterback’s actions. Smith was quoted in USA Today saying, "Those practices are not in the best interest of player safety. They’re not in the best interest of protecting our players heading into training camp. And I don’t think they are in the best interest of us getting through an entire season.”
