Colin Kaepernick To Be Subject Of Netflix Docuseries From Ava DuVernay

Colin Kaepernick and Ava DuVernay announce Netflix docuseries "Colin in Black & White"

Colin Kaepernick's life is set to become a Netflix series.

Kap is teaming with Ava DuVernay for 'Colin in Black & White,' a six-episode scripted show that will tell the story of the athlete and activist's adolescent life, with the former NFL quarterback lending his voice for narration. The show will examine events of his youth that formed Kaepernick into the activist who later took a knee on an NFL sideline and ignited a national conversation.

DuVernay, the groundbreaking academy award nominee, is best known for films such as Selma, 13th, and the Netflix drama limited series When They See Us, based on the 1989 Central Park jogger case.
